Continuing Education for Urban Christian School Teachers

Students from The Potter's House, an urban Christian School in Grand Rapids, MI
The USA's urban school scene has created many Christian alternative schools. Many of these schools are tucked away in churches or other rented facilities. Still, they strive for student excellence in academic achievement and Christian perspectives for living out their calling. To achieve this vision, teachers need continuing education which also addresses the unique challenges of teaching in an urban setting. This fund develops opportunities for teacher education and administrator networking, allowing the administrator leadership the flexibility to determine how the funds can best be used.
