Monte Hermon Christian School in Managua

About Nicaragua: Nicaragua, the largest nation in Central America is sometimes called, "the land of lakes and volcanoes" because it is home to the largest lakes in Central American and a chain of active volcanoes in its western heartland. Nicaragua's economy is based largely on agriculture, and especially on crops grown for export. With a population of nearly 4.9 million, over 40% of which are under the age of 15, Nicaragua is also among the poorest nations in Central America.
School Profile: Monte Hermon Christian School partnered with WWCS to raise funds for new school bathrooms. Recently, WWCS HANDS Teams finished construction on the bathrooms pictured above. This project was funded by WWCS donors!
