Azarias Christian School in Ciudad Sandino

About Nicaragua: Nicaragua, the largest nation in Central America, is sometimes called, "the land of lakes and volcanoes" because it is home to the largest lakes in Central American and a chain of active volcanoes in its western heartland. Nicaragua's economy is based largely on agriculture, and especially on crops grown for export. With a population of nearly 4.9 million, over 40% of which are under the age of 15, Nicaragua is also among the poorest nations in Central America.

School Profile: Azarias Christian School is currently holding classes in the tents pictured above. Three classrooms and bathrooms have already been completed, and WWCS is partnering with Azarias to raise funds to finish three more classrooms and complete the building.  Please consider how you can contribute to this ministry in Nicaragua!
