CRECH Creole Curriculum

Of all the projects in Haiti, the Creole Curriculum project is one that could touch tens of thousands of students. WWCS, in partnership with CRECH (a Haiti-based ministry), is creating a standard Christian Curriculum for the hundreds of small schools in Haiti. The first release of three grades was reviewed by the school association with great joy. Now we need to complete the curriculum itself. Bible materials are completed for 1st - 6th grade and the next step is to print 27,000 copies. These materials will help an estimated 60,000 children.
WWCS has concentrated specifically on this project for Haiti because of the strategic value of producing a curriculum that will be used by many different denominations and organizations in Haiti. There are more Christian School children in Haiti than in the United States. Can you imagine not having a unified curriculum between all of those schools in one country?
We now have an opportunity to make a significant impact in Haiti, but funds are needed to print 27,000 copies of this material. From their numbers, the estimated cost will be between $80 and $90,000 to print these books at $3-$3.50 per unit. This is an opportunity to turn this project into a significant presence in Haiti.
Please prayerfully consider how you can join WWCS in helping the Creole Curriculum project today.
