New Life Christian School in Orange Walk

School Profile: New Life Presbyterian
School in Belize began
in 1996 with the opening of a Day Care Center with 12 children. This school
start was a result of their local church realizing the need for education of
the people in the town of Orange Walk
and understanding that Christian Education is a highly useful ministry
tool. The following year the Ministry of Education granted a license to operate
a Preschool, which continued with 17 children. In 1998 a license to
operate a Primary School was granted. The student population started growing (at
present there are over 200 students) and the need for classrooms has become a
priority. This school will need to add one classroom every year until 2005 when
the Primary School will be completed.
