Mullai Academy serves 527 students and every available space on the campus is being utilized. Mullai's reputation for quality education has become well-known in the community and is the first choice for families, but many must be turned away until funds can be raised for the construction of a two-story building that will accommodate growth.

WWCS is enthusiastic about the idea of sending HANDS mission teams to build the classrooms at Mullai. The school needs a second story of new classrooms built, plus adequate toilet facilities, a playground, desks and chairs. The school compound is very large and community members gather there for parenting classes and other small enterprises. HANDS members would have many opportunities to experience the culture and develop friendships.
