At Worldwide Christian Schools (WWCS), teachers are the driving force behind our vision to ensure that all people have access to Christian education.  Below are links to resources designed specifically for hard-working educators who are making the greatest impact on students in WWCS partner schools around the world!

Free Downloads for Teachers: Teachers can access free articles, lectures, and e-books from this site, sponsored by Calvin College's Kuyers Institute for Christian Teaching and Learning.  New items are continually being added, so check back regularly.

Free Resources and Tutorials : Teachers want to focus, work smart, pursue excellence, and help their students understand and apply a biblical perspective. To empower teachers do this, Close the Gap Now, in partnership with  WWCS, provides teachers with blogs, videos, articles, tools, and online tutorials. Close the Gap Now is a service of Christian Academy in Japan and Christian Reformed World Missions. 

Get a Masters Degree: Teachers who are interested in earning a Masters degree in Worldview Studies with a concentration in Education can do so through distance learning with the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto. The institute also offers distance courses toward the Christian Academic Studies Certificate (CASC), sponsored by the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education. The five courses required for CASC can all be credited toward the Master of Worldview Studies.

Biblical integration resources: It can be hard for busy teachers to find material to help them relate all of life and learning to God and His word. Transforming Teachers has articles to help teachers in the home, church and school make the connections and teach their students to join them in thinking and living Christianly. The free book, Visual Valet: Personal assistant for Christian thinkers and teachers is one of the items that can be downloaded. Many links to Christian teacher organizations and other resources are also available. Transforming Teachers is part of Janz Team Ministries.
 

Be a Partner in Environmental Education: Worldwide Christian Schools (WWCS) owns and operates Comprenew Environmental.  Comprenew wants to provide schools with teaching units that help students understand the importance of environmental stewardship.  Teachers can be a part of the Christian environmental movement by partnering with WWCS and Comprenew in creating teaching units about protecting God's creation.  

E-book on Christian Parenting for Teachers and Parents: Christian parenting helps children learn to connect knowing with doing and belief with behavior. The trouble is that the values of the world around us influence all of us. At times our own behavior demonstrates a disconnect between what we say we believe and how we live. This book examines the way that different Christians try to parent and raise families in keeping with their beliefs.
