Curriculum Development

Worldwide Christian Schools (WWCS) wants to find ways to reach communities more effectively through curriculum development.  Right now WWCS is working on AIDS prevention curriculum in Kenya and Creole curriculum in Haiti. If you are interested in learning more about our curriculum development projects all over the world, click on the links below.

Africa: An urgent project that WWCS has partnered with in Kenya is the HIV/AIDS Curriculum Project. AIDS reaches nearly every family in many African regions. A biblically-based curriculum called "Hope for Today's Generation" is in its second year of field testing.  The focus is to help children make God-honoring choices in life to fulfill their God-given dreams and potential. A section of the curriculum specifically teaches students about contracting HIV/AIDS and how to compassionately care for AIDS victims.

Central America & the Caribbean: Of all the projects in Haiti , the Creole Curriculum project is one that could touch tens of thousands of students. WWCS, in partnership with CRECH (a Haiti-based ministry), is creating a standard Christian Curriculum for the hundreds of small schools in Haiti.
