Continuing Education for Teachers
Worldwide Christian Schools works with university faculty and school leaders in each region to identify lead teachers. These lead teachers attend conferences and other events arranged by their own university faculty and our specialists and then work to help other teachers develop the same understandings and abilities. Surprisingly, many Christian teachers who teach in state schools also attend these sessions.
You can help WWCS promote professional development for the indigenous teachers in our partner schools. Support through this program will be offered in three areas:
- Teacher College education courses, conferences, seminars and workshops on Christian perspective, methodology and curriculum development.
- Teacher Support / Mentors assisting teachers develop their God given teaching abilities to their full potential for specific grade levels and curricula.
- School Support / Leadership workshops and mentoring principals, administrative staff and school board members.
Funded by WWCS, this three-tiered support is offered by experienced teachers from North America who are willing to share their gifts with others.
