WWCS Fundraisers
WWCS uses creative ways to raise funds for Christian education that are also effective and capable of making a strong impact in the developing world. Use the links below to find out how you can join a WWCS fundraiser.
My Own Bible - 90% of all WWCS primary schools in Africa attempt to teach children about the Christian faith without Bibles.
My Own Bible was formed with the goal of providing every student in a WWCS partner school with a Bible of his or her own, beginning in Africa. The goal of My Own Bible is to provide at least 4,000 African schoolchildren with Bibles per year. $5 puts a Bible into the hands of child in their own language.
Lunch Money - As little as 20 cents will buy a child's school lunch in India. This is often the only meal a student in India will eat each day. This leaves Christian schools with the important responsibility of keeping students well-nourished and ready to learn.
School and church classrooms in North America can join WWCS in a Lunch Money coin drive. Each child receives a canister to take home and fill with coins that will feed children in India partner schools. There is no gift too small, so kids feel empowered to help each other.
Mission Homes – Mission homes help fund Christ-centered education around the globe with the profits from the sale of homes in North America. Homes are built using volunteer labor and donated materials, then sold on the market. The profits are used to help build Christ-centered schools overseas.
